Says about the book: " A Funny Thing Happened on the way to The New Yorker " . .
" Roy Delgado is much too modest. This collection includes not one but, by my count, 85 funny things that happened on the way to The New Yorker. Original, amusing and for the aspiring cartoonist, inspirational ! "

New Yorker Satire
This one also appeared as a cover for The Gag ReCap Magazine. Some of the covers like this were controversial to some, and the magazine received a letter or two from people who got bent out of shape. . they ( the naysayers ) thought I should be subject to a wrath like Salman Rushdie . . for crysakes it was all just satire . .
Some people would complain if they were hung with an itchy rope.
I LOVE The New Yorker Magazine, and I think Bob Mankoff is a marketing genius. It's the greatest magazine there ever was! LIGHTEN UP . . What's the fear ?
If you don't get it, you don't get it.
" Fear is a question. What are you afraid of and why ? Our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them. " MARILYN FRENCH, b. 1929 American Novelist
