Here is a drawing which appears on page 35 in the December issue of the official magazine of the Marines. I sold my first cartoon to Leatherneck in May of 1956 while stationed on Okinawa . . The Cartoon Editor at the time was Staff Sergeant Gordon Bess . . as many know later sold the comic " RED EYE " strip to King Features Syndicate and is still out there . . the last I heard being drawn by the great cartoonist Mel Casson who does a really great job in continuing the flavor of the comic.
