On June 28, 1979 I trekked up to Westport CT from Washington, D.C. at the invite of Bob Weber ( Molly & Moose and Slylock Fox, both syndicated by King Features ) for a couple days to meet a few of the local cartoonists and have lunch. That trip I met Jerry Marcus and Orlando Busino and after lunch I asked Orlando if he'd do me a little drawing in my trusty sketch pad and half on the table and the rest of the drawing holding the pad on his knee outside he drew this neat and beautiful cartoon. I treasure it. In this series I'll show also the one by Jerry Marcus. Note the nice soft pencil wash-tone effect he put in after inking the drawing.
