National Review cartoon - Roy delgado

Here is a cartoon which came out in the 90's in this consevative magazine . . It really doesn't matter WHICH party is in the oval office . . this cartoon still is relavent . . . I guess that can be proven by the 20% approval ratings of the congress . . It's amazing . . the more things change, the more they stay the same . .

Cartoon of the week

I just got back from Chicago - - went to see an old friend from the Marines - - we ended up going downtown to a jazz joint and a place I understand where some politicians hang out . . . I actually overheard a guy on the next barstool say something real close to the gagline below . . I quickly jotted it down on a napkin and drew it up when I got home !

This incident COULD HAVE happened anywhere, yes - - - but remember it HAPPENED in Chicago.

Milton Berle on Politics

" What's the difference between Politics and Crime ? . . In Crime, you take the money and run. "

" A statesman is a politician who didn't get caught. "

" Isn't it a shame that all the people who know how to run this country are driving cabs ? "
