Wisdom ( Write this one down )

" Wisdom oftimes consists of knowing what to do next. "

HERBERT HOOVER

( If you have ADD or ADS or AD LIKE I DO, IT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS PARAMOUNT IN IMPORTANCE EVERY SECOND, EVERY MINUTE . . ALL THE TIME, 24 HOURS A DAY . . I SOMETIMES WONDER HOW PEOPLE COPE AS WELL AS THEY DO WHO ARE AFFLICTED WITH THIS DISORDER . . REGARDLESS OF THE ATTENTION DEFICIT COMMENT ABOVE, IT IS STILL A MIND BLOWING PEARL OF WISDOM STATEMENT TO ME. )

MY ONLY PROBLEM RIGHT NOW IS I KEEP RUNNING OUT OF TIME, EVERY DAY, FOR ALL THE THINGS I WANT TO DO AND I INTEND TO DO . . I FEEL THAT I HAVEN'T SCRATCHED THE SURFACE ON WHAT IS UP AHEAD, PROJECTS THAT MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED . . ALL THE INFORMATION IS THERE, THE ABILITY IS THERE, THE KNOW-HOW IS THERE . . IF I ONLY HAD A LITTLE MORE TIME . . . Sometimes I feel like I'm getting shafted . . The world gets 24 hours a day . . and I feel like I'm only getting about 20 hours . . but I'm used to it . . all I know, is if I had 24 hours a day like everyone else and a had a degree in English from an Ivy league school, I'd be dangerous !
Nuf sed for today . . have a nice day !

Wisdom ( For a cartoonist )

" No one knows what he is able to do until he tries. "

PUBLILIUS SYRUS  ( circa 50 B.C. )

( Gee, it's THAT old ! ? . .  My hunch was right ! .  I kinda always believed this, since as long as I can remember . . you better be careful what you think about and BELIEVE , because this will probably become your reality and what will shape you, and ultimately it will be what you WILL become. )

Wisdom ( Write this one down )

While recently emailing back and forth with my special nephew, Ron Chavez of Fremont, California, who I think of Ron as a really good Humanitarian ( with a capital H ), in my mind . .

He shared with me a quick story, . . while visiting his very close friend and priest , who is dying of Lou Gehrig's disease . . get this, first, the priest has a carboard coffin all ready in the next room with a sign affixed reading, ( write this profound statement down ) " Less is more. "

Man, it doesn't get any better than this !

Thank you, Ron . . and God bless.

Things I need to tell you . .

I just drove by a little country church in nearby Strasburg, Virginia . .
The changeable letter board sign by the roadside today read:

" THE REASON TALK IS CHEAP IS BECAUSE THE SUPPLY EXCEEDS THE DEMAND "

I love it !
