As usual, this one was also rejected by The New Yorker, so I immediately sent it to American Legion Magazine, since that was on my list of who gets my next batch of New Yorker rejects . . and bingo! They bought two from that batch. Since the original drawing was in black and white, and they requested a color version, ( since they only publish color cartoons ) I was able to retrieve a copy from my files and with my Corel PaintShopPro9 Program I colored it on the computer, made a nice print on heavy photo matte paper and mailed it back.
I love The New Yorker Magazine.
