Cartoon of the week

I remember the old days when an editor might say: we like cartoons about bums, tramps, hobos, etc.
These people don't exist anymore . . now they're now just poor, homeless, uneducated, worthless, destitute, life-challenged, hopeless, disadvantaged, unfortunate saps.
There's actually nothing funny about their situations, many times it is not their fault, but what the hell . . a funny gag is a funny gag . .
