147 cartoonists from 36 countries competed in this annual free theme cartoon contest. Only 2 USA Winners, Kathleen A. McSherry - Excellent Prize and yours truly, Honorable Mention. It's more of a cultural event, that helps to bridge understanding between countries, etc. There were cash prizes and trophies and plaques for the winners but zilch for the almost rans like me . . just a piece of bond paper ( not even on parchment paper ) .
